Tell Us About Your Experience IN Hospitality...
I’m a people person and I love food. I live to eat. No two days in this industry are ever the same. I couldn’t sit behind a desk 5 days a week from 9-5 so this is my industry to be able to interact with all different people. Most hospitality experts have had experiences at multiple restaurants, hotels, etc. All I know it’s this unit. I’d like to think I know it pretty well after two decades however there’s always more to learn. I love learning and try to gain knowledge every single day of my life. I travel all of the time and go to as many restaurants as I can to learn. Attracting and retaining customers is so important in hospitality and I pride myself in that. I’ve built some pretty incredible relationships working inside an 1800 square foot restaurant the last 20 years.

What do you think makes Brody's Italian stand out?
People always say we’re like a “cheers” bar. Everyone knows everyone. I have an amazing staff. Everyone’s been there for years and stayed when I bought it which makes a statement. I’ve always said that “you’re only as good as your offensive line.” I always take care of the people who protect and take care of me. Super important especially in this industry. This business isn’t easy as most know so when a storefront has been there for two decades that speaks a lot for itself.
What makes Brody's Italian the place to go for Italian food?
Quality and consistency. A great place with a fun atmosphere to have a quality meal, some great cocktails and wine, while seeing tons of familiar faces night in and night out.
